Small businesses thrill me. Yes. Thill. There is something about coming up with an idea, working on it, and getting it off the ground that engages me completely. I guess for me, a business is an adventure. Trying to understanding a new business it like reading a good book or going on vacation. It’s a way of engaging my mind in a fresh new environment. Yes, I am a geek.
Over the years I have been involved in several businesses, both small and large. When first tried to start my own company I had no idea about how to go about doing it. It was a voyage of discovery into uncharted waters — or so I thought. Fortunately for me, I had friends who could guide me. They helped me over rough spots and supported me while I found my feet. I learned. It was an amazing experience.
I started Beraya because I wanted to offer a resource that people with new business ideas could use to help them get started, and for existing businesses to use to get ideas for improving the way they do things. There are usually little “tweaks and tricks” that one can use to be more efficient and effective. Having some guidance and an external perspective helps. To this end, I have put together a series of articles on different topics that can you can use to help you get started.
If you need more help, Beraya offers a broad range of consulting services that range from business planning and modeling to defining technology and infrastructure strategies that you can use to support your business.
For people starting a new business, what I can help you with ranges from validating your business idea, and coming up with a basic business and operating plan, and a marketing strategies to getting you up and running with a website. For people with existing businesses, I can help you refine the ideas and processes you have already, enhancing and promoting your internet presence, and optimizing your technology infrastructure.
